On
the borders of Snowdonia National Park, Ty'r Graig Castle
is an enchanting Victorian guest accommodation & Restaurant
beautifully set on a cliff-top between the mountains and
the sea, boasting stunning views of Cardigan Bay.
Only 1/2 a mile out of Barmouth town centre it was originally
built in 1891 by the famous Birmingham gunmaker WW Greener.
He allegedly made the gun that was used by Doc Holliday
in the famous "GUNFIGHT AT THE OK CORRAL". Today
the Ty'r Graig still retains many of its original features
and style of the Victorian era with stained glass windows,
wood panelling, decorative floors and very elaborate ceilings,
whilst still offering modern day comforts. Click
